Pretty amazing videos! I wonder if they ever come up with this kind of design finesse but for the incessant competition from apple and other products. I wonder even if they would have shared this kind of videos, but for that constant kicking ass from apple. 🙂

Yup, Apple gets credit for pushing the design. However HTC was doing just as great prior to Apple. The main issue in mobile industry before Apple era was (still is) carriers slowed the creativity of OEMs. They had a big say in promoting phones so they were calling shots. Post Apple era carriers realized the importance of design and stayed away from dictating the OEMs.
