February 11, marks the 36th death anniversary of late Sri Ghantasala. Though we will never forget him, I just wanted to remind you about him on this occasion with this podcast of an old MMGL archive.
During this conversation, I told the caller, Vijay garu that the formation of AP was prior to the Gentleman’s agreement. This is factually incorrect and I had to retract that assertion in an editorial insert. The reality of conducting a live show is that mistakes do happen for a variety of reasons. Regardless, I sincerely regret misstating the chronology of events surrounding one of the fundamental issues of dispute surrounding the demand for a separate Telangana state.
Now a days, preparing for IIT starts at kindergarten level. A methodical approach to preparing for IIT was mastered by Sri Ramaiah. He then turned that approach into an educational empire. Students from his coaching institute have the highest success rate at IIT JEE examination, which earned him the title. I met with him during TANA 2007 meeting and conducted this interview.
